Training “Diplomatic protocol and etiquette. Features of the organization of official visits and diplomatic receptions”

On August 5, the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine hosted a training for prosecutors “Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette. Features of the organization of official visits and diplomatic receptions”.

This one-time training was designed to improve the content and directions of the organization of official visits and diplomatic receptions for the participation of the Prosecutor General and her/his deputies in compliance with the rules of diplomatic protocol and etiquette.

Trainers:

Hennadii Nadolenko – Diplomatic official, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Israel (2010 – 2020), Director of the Gennady Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;

Olha Nakonechna – Head of the School of Business Ethics and Etiquette, Certified Etiquette Consultant, IAPO International Association of Professional Etiquette Consultant;

Oleh Demchyk – Presidential Club of Professional Winners, Tutor of the Edinburgh School of Business (UK);

Roman Petiur – Candidate of Political Science, Associate Professor of the Department of International Organizations and Diplomatic Service, Institute of International Relations of the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The trainers revealed to the participants the training structure and the special negotiation procedures and helped in its organizational preparation and the last meeting, marked with ways to solve problems used in the recent negotiations and the basic rules for organizing official visits and diplomatic primes with the participation of the Prosecutor General and his/her deputies. Participants also were offered to master the information on official correspondence and rules for signing documents for the results of negotiations.

The moderator of the event was Anastasiia Markelova, Head of the External Relations Department of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine, Candidate of Philological Sciences.
