Charge Papers and Application of Precautionary Measures in Criminal Proceedings

On November 18, 2021, the three-day training course “Charge Papers and Application of Precautionary Measures in Criminal Proceedings” finished. The Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine and the educational program “JustLearn” with the support of the “Human Rights and Justice” program of the International Renaissance Foundation designed the course jointly.

The training course lasted from 16 to 18 November 2021.

On the first day of the “Ensuring the Legality of Detention” training, prosecutors improved their practical skills in fulfilling their professional responsibilities to exercise procedural powers in the detention of a person during a pre-trial investigation.

On the second day of the training, the “Charge Papers” training took place, where prosecutors increased the level of professional competence in exercising procedural powers in the preparation and delivery of charge papers.

During the third day, the participants of the training “Application of precautionary measures” improved their skills in exercising procedural powers in the application of precautionary measures.
