On February 25, 2021, a meeting with representatives of the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership (ECEAP) took place at the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine.

ECEAP was represented by Ms Lavly Perling – Head Expert of the Estonian Center of Eastern Partnership and Prosecutor General of Estonia in 2014-2020, Mr Jako Salla – Expert on Criminal Policy, Mr Ilmar Raag – Expert on Strategic Communications and Media and Ms Alina Aruoja – Project Manager of ECEAP.

The Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine was represented by the Director Olesia Otradnova, Deputy Director Andrii Orlean, Head of the External Relations Department Anastasiia Markelova and Head of the Analytical Training Department for Prosecutors Dmytro Lotiuk.

During the meeting, Ms Lavly Perling shared her own experience gained over more than 5 years working as the Prosecutor General of Estonia, and also suggested involving the best Estonian experts to develop trainings in the areas that are most relevant for Ukrainian prosecutors.

The parties discussed the prospects of cooperation and ways to implement the Estonian experience in the process of professional training of prosecutors in Ukraine.
