September 16, working meeting with representatives of the Higher School of Advocacy of Ukrainian National Bar Association took place at the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine.
Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine were represented by director Olesia Otradnova, Andrii Orlean head of the department of methodology support for training of prosecutors and trainers, deputy head of this department Pavlo Serdyuk, consultant of this department Dmytro Lotyuk and expert of the department of quality assurance of initial and continuous training of prosecutors Kateryna Solodova.
Higher School of Advocacy of UNBA was represented by director Savva Kuzmenko and chairperson of Family law Committee Hanna Haro.
The director of the Higher School of Advocacy of UNBA shared experience of his team in automating learning processes for efficiency: «It took us two years for developing effective internal system that accredits operators and assigns events. This well-structured, unified system provides us with accurate, high quality statistics that clearly illustrates districts that are involved into continuous training and their results».
The director of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine noted that both institutions share same mission, but have different target audience. The training center aims to improve the professional level of prosecutors, and the Higher School of Advocacy lawyers.
This so-called «lawyer-judge-prosecutor» triangle could be used effectively in terms of training based on similar methodology. Savva Kuzmenko added that «by uniting our efforts, we can we can complement each other’s work».
The parties summed up the meeting with the intention to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation and hold possible joint activities.
