Supporting Public Prosecution and Interaction with the Media in Criminal Proceedings against Life and Health Crimes

On February 7-9, 2022, the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine hosted a training course “Supporting Public Prosecution and Interaction with the Media in Criminal Proceedings against Life and Health Crimes.”

During three days of the course, participants attended the following trainings:

“Evidences in criminal proceedings against life and health crimes”,

“Supporting public prosecutions in criminal proceedings against Life and Health Crimes”,

“Prosecutor’s communication with the media in criminal proceedings against life and health crimes.”

The participants of the event mastered the methods and skills of speaking in court with introductory and accusatory speeches, direct and cross-examination, which will contribute to the implementation of high-quality support for public prosecution in court.

Olena Bondarchuk – Prosecutor of the Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor’s Office;

Yevhenii Varfolomeiev – Head of the Forensic Medical Department of the State Security Service “Main Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine”;

Denys Demkiv – Prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office, Candidate of Law;

Yurii Khyt – Prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office;

Oleksii Ananov – journalist, media expert;

Anastasiia Krasnitska – journalist, media expert.
