September 10, Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine hosted a working meeting with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine and the Office of the Prosecutor General.
The European Union Advisory Mission to Ukraine (EUAM) was represented by Senior Advisor on Prosecution Marten Alvinsson, Senior Advisor on Prosecution (Organised crime) Nadja Neri, Senior Advisor on Cybercrime Kirill Mireev, and specialist on Prosecution, Financial and Organized Crime Yevhen Cherniakov.
Tetiana Poletilo, deputy head of the International Cooperation Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General, joined meeting online.
Olesia Otradnova, director of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine, Anastasiia Markelova, expert of the international department, Andrii Orlean, head of the department of methodology support for training of prosecutors and trainers, Kateryna Solodova, expert of the department of quality assurance of initial and continuous training of prosecutors, Olena Harmai, expert of the department of methodology support for continuous training of civil servants.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss training modules for prosecutors and newly appointed prosecutors in the framework of advanced training. Participants drew attention to the need for accumulation, processing of information and correlation with the professional needs of prosecutors. In order to achieve positive results, the sides agreed to adapt world practices to the PPO needs, as well as to focus on the public speaking skills during the designing of training program frameworks for prosecutors.
