September 3, 2020, training «Specific features of professional diplomacy for prosecutors» will be held in the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine. Olesia Otradnova, Director of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine, welcomed the participants and highlighted that training was designed specifically to provide practically needed knowledge and skills».
3-module program was developed exclusively for the employees of the Department of International Legal Cooperation of the Prosecutor General’s Office by specialists of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine named after Hennadiy Udovenko at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and outlined the following issues:
«Specifics of work with diplomatic missions»;
«Etiquette and protocol of business communication through the prism of national and cultural specifics of different countries»;
«Difficulties in holding protocol meetings in the field of criminal justice».
Training was conducted by prominent diplomacy trainers Serhii Korsunsky – Director of the Gennady Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, and Olha Nakonechna – Certified Etiquette Consultant, Head of the Information Resources Center of the Gennady Udovenko Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine and moderated by Anastasiia Markelova, International Cooperation Expert of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine.
During training participants analyzed peculiarities of the working meetings and high-level meetings with the Prosecutor General, the hierarchy of diplomatic missions, intercultural communication, the peculiarities of working with translators. Special attention will be paid to the concept of «international courtesy», business dress code and nonverbal communication.
Serhii Korsynky focused the audience’s attention on such issues as the language of negotiations, role of religious peculiarities during visits of international delegations. Olha Nakonechna, in her turn, spoke in detail about the specific features of holding protocol meetings and professional etiquette features of communication for prosecutors.
All participants were awarded certificates.
