September 8, Olesia Otradnova, Director of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine and Anastasiia Markelova, International Cooperation Expert, held a working meeting with the administration of the Belgian Judicial Training Institute: Director, Raf van Ransbeek, Deputy Director, Hos de Vos and International Cooperation Attaché, Yumit Ora.

During the working meeting, the parties discussed the mission, concept and features of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine, the possibility of implementing bilateral projects aimed at strengthening international cooperation. Anastasiia Markelova outlined the key principles of work of the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine in view of the professional development of prosecutors.

Raf van Ransbeek drew a parallel between the Judicial Training Institute and the Prosecutor`s Training Center of Ukraine, emphasizing common challenges, i.e.: long lasting search for trainers, target audience-based ToT sessions and development of support guidelines for trainers.

Olesia Otradnova outlined the results of cooperation with international partners and highlighted the importance of incorporation of best international practices into the training process of prosecutors in Ukraine.

The parties agreed on the formal approval of the partnership, which will be based on experience exchange, which will create new efficient opportunities not only for the development of professional prosecutioneducation, but also for Ukraine in general.
