On January 25, 2021, the director of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine and the director of the Innovation and Development Foundation (IDF) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation which provides for a number of joint projects.
The Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine was represented by the director Olesia Otradnova, deputy director Andrii Orlean, head of the Analytical Training Department of Prosecutors Dmytro Lotyuk and head of the External Relations Department Anastasiia Markelova.
IDF Ukraine was represented by the director Liudmyla Ievsieienko and IDF experts Lyudmyla Arahamiya and Roman Zhovnir.
The parties discussed a possibility of developing trainings for prosecutors who would be taught to use particular software, which will in turn be used to search for information necessary for criminal proceedings (including that related to corruption) from national and international databases.
Other forms of trainings were also discussed at the meeting, as well as the ways for their implementation.
