On January 18, 2021, a meeting was held with representatives of the Ukrainian Polygraph Association: president Tetyana Morozova and executive director Volodymyr Vedmid.
The meeting was chaired by the director of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine Olesia Otradnova, Andrii Orlean, deputy director, Anastasiia Markelova, head of the External Relations Department, and Dmytro Lotyuk, consultant of the Analytical Training Department for Prosecutors.
The parties discussed ideas on how to direct the knowledge and skills of polygraph examiners towards improving and facilitating the work of the prosecutorial community.
“It is an honor for us to cooperate with the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine,” said the president of the Ukrainian Polygraph Association.
“The priority of our cooperation is to use a polygraph as an effective and new way of training and testing prosecutors,” added the director of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine.
The parties agreed to formalize joint work by concluding a Memorandum of Cooperation in the near future.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian Polygraph Association is a non-governmental organization operating throughout Ukraine to unite polygraph examiners with various professional knowledge and practical experience in order to form a single fundamental scientific and theoretical basis for conducting research using a polygraph, creating methodological recommendations and summarizing the practical experience of working with a polygraph in Ukraine.
