During 23-25 February 2021, the training “Burnout as a result of professional stress and conflict in civil servants” took place at the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine. The training was attended by civil servants of category “B” and “V” of the structural units of the Prosecutor General’s Office, regional prosecutor’s offices and local (district) prosecutor’s offices.
Problems and stress occur in everyone and, usually, they can be overcome at work. As for professional burnout, everything is more complicated here. It is a protracted process that matures over a long period of time and then takes the employee out of work for a long time as well.
The overall goal of the program is to form participants’’ conflictological competencies in forecasting, preventing and resolving conflicts in the civil service, to familiarize with the root causes and forms of stress and to teach the participants to master practical tools to overcome burnout at the organizational and individual levels.
