Meeting with the Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic

On June 2, 2021, the Slovak Republic delegation headed by Prosecutor General Maroš Žilinka paid an official visit to the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine.

The Slovak delegation was represented by: Prosecutor General – Maroš Žilinka, Deputy Prosecutor General – Jozef Kandera, and General Prosecutor’s Office employee – Mario Potuček.

The meeting was also attended by: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to Ukraine – Marek Šafin; Honorary Consul of the Slovak Republic in Ukraine – Stanislav Obitsky and Acting Head of the Legal Aid Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office – Oleh Hladkikh, Prosecutor of the Legal Aid Department of the Legal Aid and Extradition Department of the Department of International Legal Cooperation – Oleksandr Zavalskyi.

From the Training Center of Prosecutors of Ukraine participated: director – Olesia Otradnova, deputy directors – Andrii Yakovliev and Andrii Orlean; Anastasiia Markelova – Head of the External Relations Department, and Oleksandr Tverdokhlib – Chief Specialist of the same department.

During the visit, the Slovak delegation had the opportunity to get better acquainted with the daily work of the Training Center of Prosecutors of Ukraine. The main points of further cooperation in the educational and practical sphere were also discussed. In particular, the Head of the Slovak delegation, the Prosecutor General of the Slovak Republic –  Maroš Žilinka, was presented the Memorandum of Cooperation Between the Prosecutor’s Training Centre of Ukraine and the Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic for further signing on Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic behalf.
