On October 5-7, 2021, the training course was held at the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine, which was designed for prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General, regional and district prosecutors.
On the first day of training, the training “Appeals against court decisions in the court of appeal” took place. Participants mastered their knowledge of the equal application of criminal and criminal procedural law when appealing court makes decisions, and improved their skills in preparing both appeals and prosecutors’ speeches in the appellate court.
On the second day of training was the training “Appeals of court decisions in the court of cassation”, during which the participants worked with the trainers on issues related to the proceedings in the court of cassation. These are the procedure and terms of appealing court decisions in criminal proceedings in cassation, and requirements to the court of cassation to eliminate violations of the law committed by courts of first and appellate instances, and the powers of the court of cassation as a result of the cassation appeal.
“Writing appeals and cassation complaints.” The training under this name ended the training course “Appeals against court decisions in criminal proceedings in the courts of appeal and cassation”.
Participants updated their knowledge, practiced skills in writing appeals and cassation complaints.
