A representative of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine as part of the Ukrainian delegation paid a working visit to the Republic of Croatia.
Anastasiia Markelova – Head of the External Relations Department of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine, together with representatives of the NORLAU Project “Supporting Judicial Reform in Ukraine through the full-scale implementation of probation in Ukraine” paid a working visit to the Republic of Croatia to participate in the two-day first international conference conducted by Probation Service of the Republic of Croatia “10+ years of experience and new challenges for the development of probation”.
During the visit, members of the Ukrainian delegation met with the Minister of Justice and Public Administration of Croatia, Ivan Malenica.
Representatives of Ukraine and Croatia discussed: issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of probation, especially the training of prosecutors, in particular, analyzed the training course “Sentencing and execution, protection of human rights in places of detention, probation”, and exchanged experiences on alternative punishment.
For reference: The Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine and the NORLAU Project “Supporting Judicial Reform in Ukraine through the full-scale implementation of probation in Ukraine” are implementing several joint projects, including developing a specialized training course for prosecutors, conducting joint trainings.
