International forum on cyber security

Today, on November 18, 2021, a two-day International Forum on Cyber Security started in the innovation space “Unit.city”. The event was organized on the initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine.

Iryna Venediktova, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, opened the event and noted that more than 80 experts from 20 countries gathered to discuss the challenges of the digital space and make constructive decisions on this issue.

Olesia Otradnova, Director of the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine, became one of the participants of the event. Ms. Otradnova stated: “Such initiative of the Prosecutor General’s Office is extremely important, as the best specialists in the digital sphere share their own experience, which can be combined into effective tools in the future. In its turn, the Prosecutor’s Training Center of Ukraine will provide trainings on cybersecurity within the training courses for Ukrainian prosecutors.

The International Forum on Cyber Security became a platform for the exchange of best practices in this field, as well as a platform for discussion by national and international experts on issues related to effective cooperation in the investigation of cybercrime.

On the first day of the event following forum participants took the floor: Satoshi Shimizu, Director of the Japan Cybercrime Control Center, member of the Interpol expert group; Jana Ringwald, Senior Attorney General of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Frankfurt am Main – Cybercrime Center; Volodymyr Pavelko, co-founder and CEO of the Global Cyber Cooperative Center (GC3) and others.
